There is no plasticfree, microwavable and also aesthetic Lunchbox on the market.
How are you going to solve the problem?
Developing a lunchbox which solves already mentioned problems. It will be highly modular, flexible and adapts perfectly
to your needs, manufactured out of a microwavable, non-plastic material.
What is the impact of your project?
Health impact - heating up food filled plastic containers in a microwave can harm your health. Even though most plastic
lunchboxes are BPA-free.
Ecological impact - no plastic & highly durable eco box
How can the project be manufactured in the OpenLab?
OLab will be very helpful for prototyping process through 3D printers. Also cooperating with the expertise of OLabs
Engineers will improve the product.

We believe that your food deserves more than a plastic box.
Why cooking healthy food with organic ingredients and then
store it in an unsavory plastic container.
Givrs' Honest Box will be 100% honest in terms of the materials used for
our lunchbox. You won`t be wondering whether you are able to heat our box up or not and you can be 100% sure that the
Honest Box won`t harm you health.
Our aim is to fabricate our lunchbox from an eco-friendly, sustainable and yet highly
durable and light weight ceramic, financed through a crowdfunding campaign until mid of 2017.

What will the box then made of?
Is it open source? So, anyone around the world could make it based on
your data?
transporting the lunchbox and it's content over a distance. I suggest you make the body layered, that is, add a
foam between the inner layer and the outer layer.

heat food on the plate because it is logical that if you have a microwave you have plates. Should not every manufacturer
ensure that the plastic used for ordinary food containers does not harm the food contained in them?
but what's the material used? and is it 3D printed?
