Which problem are you trying to solve?

Students in middle and high school face difficulty in understanding scientific concepts, especially in physics, where
many of the concepts are invisible and need visualization or specific resources.

How are you going to solve the problem?

Using interactive Virtual Reality application, students can see many invisible scientific concepts and virtually apply
experiments on them. Electricity and electromagnetism are our current focus.

What is the impact of your project?

Magniscope shall enhance the educational process, especially in science. The shall nurture students' interest in
science and trigger their creativity and thus development of the future they make.

How can the project be manufactured in the OpenLab?

The needed equipment can be fitted on a desk. A VR operating PC, VR headset with controllers (HTC Vive), the development
team and experts in physics (electricity & EM for now) and UE4 software.

Describe your project in detail

This project is a virtual realty system that is meant to educate users about magnetism, electricity and electromagnetism
concepts. By using virtual reality, the user can do many experiments to understand the physics behind some of these
concepts including capacitance, Farady's law, speakers (application), and others. These concepts are explained by
showing the invisible forces and elements that cannot be seen in real life such as charged particles, current flow, and
magnetic field. Also, some components are too small in real life or are expensive for anyone to use for experiments
while in virtual environment these parts can be large, visible and cannot be damaged. Moreover, the project in hand
allows the user to assemble devices that are used in real life and are based on magnetism and electrical concepts in
order to relate theories to reality. Lastly, all of that is combined with the related scientific explanation. User does
not only see these concepts, tools, and real life applications, but only interact with them by applying these
experiments and even taking quizzes to enhance their understanding. So, Magniscope will help the user visualize what
they cannot normally see as well as their applications in real life.

A wonderful idea .. When watching the student of physical terms visually it helps in the ease of understanding ... It
is also possible to use the Hologram, which helps in delivering the terms to students easily and the cost of applying a

I like physics , good idea but develop more how concepts can be visualizing in 3d for education and the interactive part
! good luck !
