a device that detects obstacles in front of the blind person and awares the user to avoid it.

Blind people will become more confident to go out because accidents for blind people will decrease.

3D printer to print the outer form of our box. and some electronical components such as ultrasonic sensor.

Describe your project in detail

More and more accidents occur to blind people every year. that makes the blind person less comfortable to go out because
he can cause problems to others and there is a chance that he becomes a victim of the next accident.
we decided to make
a box, a device that can be attached to any blind person's cane. it will detect obstacles and tells the user by
vibrating in his hand to avoid it.
it won't vibrate for every person who passes in front of him.
for example it
sends multiple singals and if the distance decreases in each one, it means the user is walking toward an obstacle.

Nice idea .. But if the blind faced a hole in the way how this device will warn him before he fall into it? Or if the
obstacle in front of him is very low, will the device detect it?

if the blind person is facing a hole he will detect it with his cane.
Its the same
for a low obstacle the blind person will understand that the obstacle is lower than the device so he will avoid it.
we
will look into that to make it possible to avoid the lower obstacles without his cane we can put ultrasonic sensors at
the bottom of our cane to improve user experience.
