Which problem are you trying to solve?

In Australia, 26 die and 7,700 injured annually from cleaning the window of a skyscraper. Asides being a dangerous job,
it is also expensive. We are hence working on an innovative way to reduce this.

How are you going to solve the problem?

We are building a robot that can be automated and used in the cleaning of this skyscrapers. This way we'd be able
to reduce cost, efficiency and human risk of cleaning of the windows of skyscrapers.

What is the impact of your project?

On building the cleaning robot, we would be able to reduce the human risk of cleaning the win of skyscrapers and the
cost, saving the buildings owner money and saving the lives of people involved.

How can the project be manufactured in the OpenLab?

A major part of the robots would be built using the 3D printers. Also being able to collaborate with other innovative
people and experts would help to bring this to reality.

Describe your project in detail

We are building a robot that looks like a spider with six extensible arms that can crawl on the glass of the
skyscrapers, using a suction pump to hold on to the building while it extends to clean the buildings.
For a start we
have designed a device that can be controlled manually with two operators who would enable the cleaning process and hope
to modify it to the robot described above.

Nice idea .. The device can be installed in the middle and the tool cleans on the sides and cleaning in circular motion
to include more space in the cleaning process..so we insure cleaning faster
